HOW TO SPEAK IN PUBLIC 101 Know your
audience. Find out if they want you to
speak on a particular topic. Find out
how long they expect you to speak. Look
at them, not over their heads. Start
with a joke or an attention-getting statement or question. (1)
Tell them what you're going to tell them. (2)
Tell them. (3) Tell them what you just told them. If you intend to end with a question and answer
session, have a few questions ready in case they have none.

Museum of Art 2445 Monroe Street Different Trains, large-scale
video installation spanning nearly 25 feet in the Canaday Gallery from Feb. 9
to May 5, 2019. The profoundly moving
work about the Holocaust is both historically important and aesthetically
impressive. The 29-minute film will run
on a continuous loop and features the 1988 musical score by American composter
Steve Reich, recorded by the Kronos Quartet and visually reinterpreted by
Spanish filmmaker Beatriz Caravaggio.
Reich composed Different
Trains in 1988, a work for string quartet and sampled
recorded voices. The work was awarded
the 1989 Grammy for the Best Contemporary Classical Composition.

Oxtail is
the tail of a cow. In olden days, it came from the tail of an ox,
but now it comes from the tail of a cow of either sex. The tail is skinned and cut into sections;
each section has a tailbone with some marrow in
the center, and a bony portion of meat surrounding the tail. The meat is gelatinous, and is best used for
stocks, soups, and braises. It’s common
in Italian and Korean cuisine to see oxtail used as an ingredient. Oxtail requires a long time to cook since
it’s so bony and fatty; this is the perfect braising meat.

Buffalo Wild Wings will offer its guests free
chicken wings if the
New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams need overtime to determine the Super
Bowl winner, the sports bar chain’s parent company, Inspire Brands, announced January
23, 2019. Buffalo Wild Wings’ promotion
follows its long tradition of boasting of its ability to influence the outcome
of games by sending them to overtime. Only
one of previous 52 Super Bowls went to overtime: Super Bowl LI, which the New England Patriots
won over the Atlanta Falcons in 2017. Buffalo
Wild Wings will make good on its Super Bowl promise between 4 p.m. ET and 7
p.m. ET on Feb. 18, 2019 by giving all comers a free order of snack-sized
wings. https://nesn.com/2019/01/super-bowl-liii-free-buffalo-wild-wings-for-america-if-this-score-happens/
